This is a unique way of dealing with the masking of PCBs prior to wave soldering.

The solder masks eliminate the time-consuming nature of using standard Kapton(TM) tape. Some PCB designs have gold contact areas over the entire periphery of the board meaning that they need to be masked off in some fashion. It may take operators several minutes in order complete this task for some boards. In addition this manual process may lead to some areas of the board not being properly masked leading to board repair or scrapping.

These solder masks allow you to simply peel off the custom laser cut Kapton(TM) from the release liner and place it on to the PCB. 2-sided boards may require more than one shape depending on the sizing.

The Polyimide material is a  0.004" thick.

• Stencil Material: Plastic film with release liner. Adhesive is an acrylic hgih temperature-rated type of adhesive.

• Minimum Pitch: .020in (0.3mm)

• Maximum Stencil Size: Approx 4 x 4in (100mm x 100mm)

We accept either standard GERBER files, part data sheets or CAD files.
