Plated Hole Repair Kit

The plated hole repair kit otherwsie known as the PCB throughhole repair kit is used when vias or plated throughole barrels need to be replaced. These vias or barrels can be become damaged when a component is lifted out of the barrel during the component removal process.

There are a vareity of materials and tools in this kit. They include (6) of the mot common-sized eyelets for plated hole replacement. In addition the tools one normally uses the swage or permanently place the replacement eyelets in to position. A swage tool fixture and swage tool base are used to put the barrel into place and form it such it fits and is afixed to the PCB.

Replacement and other sized eyelest used for plated hole repair are available as replacement parts of tools.
